Too Good to Be True

Looking fabulous in heels...

while riding around on two wheels! Yet, somehow these ladies manage to make it look easy.

I have one more too good to be true moment to share: the realization that this is my 1,000th blog post!

I'm not sure how to properly mark the occasion other than to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who wanders in and out of this little piece of blogland real estate. But a particularly huge thank you to those of you who have actually come back here 1,000 times!

 Here's to the next...well, maybe I'll stop counting now...

They would make for a very tasty look!

Do You Dare?

The trend graced runways at Burberry and even Oscar de la Renta and now you're spotting it on many a fashionable foot. I'm talking about tights/socks with sandals.

Great not-quite-warm-enough-to-wear-open-toed-alternative, or, major fashion faux pas? I'm torn...or maybe just a little timid. Do you dare try it??

I'm Loving...

In fact I'm really really needing peep toes, especially ones with serious personality! It appears Needs Supply will give me what I'm jonesin' for.

And fabulous neutrals to boot? I'm in platform heaven!

Sole-full Decor {Spring Edition}

I'm loving the mix and match of the spring trends. They provide the perfect amount of versatility and my favorite, tons of sky-high heels. Translate it all into decor and no matter which direction you go, you really can't take a wrong turn.

You might prefer sweet whites,

Or perhaps spring pinks,

then there are the supple neutrals,

And the exuberant brights.

Really, there's a look to suit any mood. Now if only changing decor was as easy as shoes! That's why I invest in big closets.

Sole-ful Decor {Hot Shoes, Cool Rooms}

Because it was 67 degrees in Seattle yesterday it is officially open-toe shoe season in the shoes to rooms world. Bring on the pedicures people!

Here's to a well-heeled spring!

Sole-ful Decor {Elizabeth & James}

After a few days of sun (and less than 90 days till the wedding!) I'm really feeling like spring is just around the corner.

Maybe that's why I can't stop staring at these gorgeous open-toed wedges from Elizabeth & James and dreaming of the perfect spaces to accompany them. You know I'm a sucker for grey after all.

Wedding Wednesday {THE Shoes}

Ladies and gentlemen, the verdict is in. I have taken the leap and made what I consider to be one of my most important wedding related purchases. THE shoes.

And I love them. I'm over the moon about them. I cannot stop staring at them. I hope you approve.

I give you the Christian Louboutin Glitter Slingback. Trust me, they look even better in person.

Now I just have to try them on with the dress!

Wedding Wednesday {A Teaser}

Luvies, I've made a major breakthrough in the world of wedding planning. This one is big. HUGE.

I'll give you a hint....

Back in a bit with the big reveal!

Wedding Wednesday {Real Wedding}

Yesterday, my shoes to rooms post featured Omelle shoes. Well, I actually got the inspiration from this fabulously fashionable wedding captured by the equally fabulous Elizabeth Messina.

As our wedding fast approaches the shoe hunt is officially on. I think Omelles just became a contender!

Sole-ful Decor {Omelle}

Spring trends are already in the air (here and here for example). The spring shoe collection from Omelle certainly has me daydreaming of warmer days, brighter skies and lots of leg.

They are also a perfect match for bright and sunny Scandinavian spaces

Have a Luxe and Luscious Holiday

Dear readers,

Thank you so much for an amazing year. My life and this blog took so many unexpected and joyous twists and turns and it's privilege to be a part of your world, even if only for a minute or two a day.

I'm off to celebrate with a multitude of family and friends. I hope you do the same!

Cheers luvies.

Sole-ful Decor {Holiday Hearth Edition}

It's been awhile since my last {shoes to rooms} post but with thoughts of hearth and home top of mind I couldn't resist doing a cozy, warm, holidays edition.
