Wedding Wednesday {Jenny's Girls}

I just discovered Jenny Packham's absolutely heavenly 2011 collection - all with names as pretty as the looks themselves.

Meet Dearest, Syrie, Antonella, Minerva and Saskia.

I'd love a dancing-date with any of them!

Sign Me Up

This sweet California wedding, shot by the ever-popular Max Wanger and just featured on Style Me Pretty caught my eye for so many reasons. The couple was gorgeous, the bride's Monique Lhuillier dress was perfection and the shoes were sparkly (a girl after my own shoe-loving heart).

After I got past the fashion and looked even closer, I noticed the particularly sweet attention paid to detail too. I shouldn't expect anything less from the dynamic duo that is Bash Please events.

 The unexpected, creative thoughtful little things are my favorite thing about weddings these days. It's the event planner in me. I particularly loved this wedding's brilliant use of signs.

Using just a handful of simple words sets such a welcoming tone, defining the wedding's personality perfectly.

It's a personality I want to be BFF's with!

Wedding Wednesday {Don't Mess with the Dress)

I've got a new wedding dress crush - too good not to share. The collection, Ivy & Aster has me craving yet another I-do fashion moment. Can a girl get...at least a half dozen in her lifetime? Is that too much to ask??

I'd be happy to be a bridesmaid or a bride!

Because there shouldn't be only one day in a girl's life that calls for a special dress. I call special dress day Tuesday.

{Seasonal} Wedding Wednesday

After drooling over a unique briday party last week, I'm continuing to lust after eye catching wedding looks. One of the fabulous perks of a wedding held in a nontraditioanl time of year?

A stunning nontraditional wedding dress! I love the idea of bringing in a sultry floral layer to tie in the fall foliage.

Jaw Dropping Wedding Dress

Style maven Cherry Blossom Girl, recently got married and her wedding in France was an amazing style-fest. It all started with her stunning wedding dress, that was a perfect mix of casual elegance, flouncy layers and pure marital glamour.

Did you happen to stop the champagne pyramid behind her?! Every note of this wedding was pitch perfect. You can see oh so much more perfection here!

Wedding Wednesday {A Fashionable Crowd}

I had an entirely different post all set for this week's Wedding Wendesday, but as I was trolling my biggest wedding photog crushes (it's a weekly ritual), I was suddenly stopped dead in my tracks.

A recent Palm Springs wedding captured by Max Wanger not only took place in one of my favorite locales, at a kick ass and take names hotel, but it also had some uber-fashionable guests! I just had to be sure you saw it.

I thought the peaches and cream bridal party was equally fabulous. Note the shoes!

Note to self, make sure to take satorialist-inspired photos of your guests at your next fete. Such a great way to get pics of friends and to capture the personality that made the event memorable!

Wedding Wednesday {I Still Do!}

I'm so excited to be back at Wedding Wednesdays - with my archives of wedding inspiration files and my love for wedding design details I just couldn't walk away from it all.

And I had a post all queued up to relaunch Wedding Wednesdays today - until I spotted the Vera Wang Spring/Summer 2011 collection. After that, I couldn't think of anything but tulle, layers, draping and that dusty amethyst!

But I figure there's no better way to kick start planning for your I-do's (real or imagined!) than with classic bridal couture. Can you renew your vows after only 2 months - and get away with wearing Vera?!

Wedding Wednesday {Dress Redux}

I've discovered another bonus of a destination wedding is the opportunity to throw a hometown wedding reception, which we are doing this Saturday night. Extending the celebration is certainly fun, as is getting to wear my wedding dress a second time!

My original plan was to shorten the dress for the reception. I've long been a big fan of the short wedding dress. Just look at this Monique Lhuiller - how fun would it be to wear that?!

But when it came time to take the scissors to the tulle, I just couldn't pull the trigger. I'm actually looking forward to experiencing that feeling of excitement and anticipation of putting on the dress again.

If I could have my absolute fantasy scenario, I'd get to wear an entirely different dress for the reception - and in that fantasy land I'd go even BIGGER! I'm tellin' ya, the tulle goes straight the brain! But wouldn't you want to spend a night in one of these stunners?

Instead, I'm going to relish every single moment of being back in my wedding dress, partying with my friends, family and my HUSBAND all night long!

Wedding Wednesday {Glamour Shots}

Even though I had my last dress fitting on Friday and I am in love with my wedding dress, I can't help having other dresses continue to catch my.

I know they tell you to stop looking once you've got your dress chosen, but I seem to have no problem oogling other gorgeous options. Especially if they look as good as these dresses from Temperley of London.

At this point I just want to plan my wedding 100 different times, 100 different ways and of course with 100 different dress options!

Wedding Wednesday {A Sweet Simplicity}

It may be because I just scheduled my final wedding dress fitting, but dresses keep catching my eye. Especially the fresh, clean look of subtle design and true artistry.

Can I get away with four dresses?? Pretty please?!

Happy {Peaches and Cream} Weekend

Happy almost! weekend all. The rain continues to pour here but I'm going to make use of the excellent opportunity to be indoors looking at pretty frills and sparkling treats to wear in Mexico. The wedding is coming so quickly!

How fabulous would that vintage Dior be for our City Hall ceremony? Le sigh.

Wish me luck luvies!
