KELLEY GREEN: GLAM BAMB{ECO} GARDEN PARTY

Summer is quickly come to an end, so why not take advantage of the last of long daylight and warm evenings and end this season in style? And not just any style. Kelly Wearstler style! KW would most definitely wrap this summer up with a glamorous (and sustainable!) backyard garden party. Complete with glowing luminaries, bright colors (think Palm Springs Viceroy) and some extra bold, graphic prints.

Thanks to Bambeco - a company who believes in "hot style for a cool planet" - it's easy for you to live your values without sacrificing quality and a high-end look!

Consider these darling, modern lanterns (also available in my personal favorite, floral) and trellis place mats (dyed with low-impact dyes that still provide brilliant hues).  Together they create stunning, statement looks that are eco-chic as well as a dash of "Wearstler-esque" flair!

KELLEY GREEN: URBAN GARDENING

I see London. I see Paris.  I see green, green, green!
Hello my dearest readers, it's Courtney with a freshly picked Kelley-Green find! Living walls seem to be quite the trend these days - from big-city facades and roof top terraces to upscale boutiques. Now, I know what you're thinking - I can barely keep my houseplants alive... how am I going to grow a whole wall? Luckily, a little company called Woolley Pockets has made it incredibly easy to get this lush + luxe look!

These ingenious creations (made specifically for vertical garden walls) are breathable, gardening containers that provide some amazing eco-friendly benefits...
  • Cuts down on heating/cooling bills because these plant walls provide excellent insulation (yay! more money for fall shopping!)
  • Created from 100% recycled water bottles
  • Acts as a wonderful sound barrier
  • Fresher and cleaner air quality
  • Easy to install, maintain & use (check out this darling instructional video here set to Parisian music--J'adore!)
Here are some of my favorite ways of using the woolley pockets.... I especially love the luscious, natural texture in contrast to the industrial brick in the image below. However, if would you prefer an outdoor living wall surrounding your backyard haven then you're in luck - 'Walley' is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, so take your pick or do both to blend the inside seamlessly with the out!

KELLEY GREEN: ECO LUXE GOODS FROM SANG + SERENA

Well, hello there gorgeous...
Many of us wonder if we can have such beautiful casegoods and textiles as these pieces and still be eco-friendly. The answer is: yes! And the company you can find them at is Sang and Serena whose mission is, "being good, doing good, and having good". Each of their stunning products are completely handmade and composed of all natural resources in India, and each step of the process is created to be as environmentally sensitive as possible, especially when importing these goods back to the states!
Choose from incredible chests, desks, side tables, consoles and even trays to infuse a splash of color and intricate detail directly into your home. All of their accent pieces would work effortlessly in a variety of fabulous settings (from an industrial loft to an ultra-glam apartment), and attention is given to creating high quality furniture that is here to last. They intend each piece to be a potential heirloom, passed down from generation to generation. This concept alone is earth friendly - no longer will you need to replace your furniture every ten years (and why would you if you owned something of this craftsmanship?)

Not only are these textile designs one-of-a-kind, they are created in an incredibly unique way! Say goodbye to mass-production, Sang and Serena quilts are created individually by stencil - an ancient Indian technique that dates all the way back to the 1100's. This darling 'nautical-esque' quilt below has to be one of my favorites from the eco-luxe company. And what makes them even better is knowing that this particular bedding is as wonderful for us as it is to the earth!
Now here comes the hard part - which piece would you pick to invest in? And which color? (Their casegoods come in pink, black, grey or white!) Not to mention the six unique patterned quilts in a variety of color schemes. Decisions, decisions...
