FOODIE FASHIONISTA: ON THE RED CARPET

Hello readers! Crissie from bug&Bear here, and I am thrilled that it is award season again, aren't you? I adore watching what the stars choose to wear down the red carpet - spotting the trends, gushing over the best dressed and ruthlessly mocking the worst.
The Golden Globes gave us a few lovely colors that thrilled me with their easy translation to the table. Gowns in gorgeous emerald greens and sweet, soft blushes mix wonderfully into a simple (yet unexpected!) shrimp soup....

What were your favorite gowns of the Globes?

Mila in Monique and More Emmy Fashion

Looking through all of the red carpet fashion from last night's Emmys again, I've decided that Mila Kunas' Monique Lhuillier Gown is hands down my favorite - a perfect shade of plum, sophisticated but original, and every detail down to her makeup, hair and earrings is perfect. Not too overdone, but all very complimentary...
A few more of my favorites (in order of awesomeness)...
January Jones in an amazingly constructed Versace, Anna Torv in Marc Bouwer which I loved for the fact that it covered everything but some seriously fantastic cleavage, Jennifer Carpenter in a stunning dress by Zuhair Murad that made her look like she actually has curves (I assure you she does not), Kate Walsh in a J. Mendel gown that really grew on me throughout the evening, Alyson Hannigan who I didn't even see last night, but my god this tiered Vera Wang is gorgeous on her (love the casual hair too!), and of course Chloe Sevigny in an Isaac Mizrahi Resort piece which was equally elegant and playful.

Ok, so dish it. Who were your faves?

Did You Know...

That Eva Mendes has been taking styling tips from the coco+kelley wardrobe advisors?
True story ;)

Well, maybe not, but still... the woman looks hot! She has officially been added to my list of celebs whose style I love. I also wanted an excuse to answer the many of you who asked where I got this top... it's Forever 21. Yes, really. Now go grab one before they sell out.

Go Big...

... or go home? Drew & Eva certainly rocked some 'big' looks with the coiffed hair and Dior pouf last night. Did you love or hate? (I kinda secretly loved - although I think the hair looks better in photos than in reality... especially after a few hours of drinks.)

I also think Hollywood put their two cents in on their own color of the year...

Nude tones anyone? Mmm hmm. My other favorites are right here (including some actual color!).
