Style Gawking {Tulip Lousie}

I suspect the term style gawker was coined elsewhere, but I'm officially adopting it as it perfectly describes my reaction to amazing fashion moments. The huz is constantly mopping my jaw up of the ground when I spy a look I love.

Darling Anna, fashionista extraordinaire and professional stylist, not only had me drooling, but fully knocked me back on my heels with her amaze-balls style.

Anna's motto: "Life is too short to wear a bad outfit."

I <3 her.

Own the envy luvies. I certainly am! And be sure to check out more of Anna on her blog!

GREEN LEATHER GETS FRESH

There are very few circumstances in life where the idea of a green leather living room set would be even remotely close to a genius design concept. This is one of them:

Leaving the rest of the space fresh, white and modern makes this incredibly appealing to me! Of course, it helps the the chesterfield sofa and chairs have fantastic style. It reminds me of this ensemble that I blogged about a couple years back...

Still dying to find the just-right vintage green leather jacket to top my white dresses and t's in.

I LOVE...

The combination of print and color in this ensemble. It absolutely shouldn't work, but somehow it does...

Perhaps it's the classic tailoring and simple lines that pull it together? The pop of green accessories? The way the colors play off each other. The real question is - if I saw this on the average woman ... would it still be fashionable? In my mind, that's always the way to separate the crazy ensembles from the ones that really work. What do you think?

Tasty Tuesday {Yummy Fashion}

When I spotted this gorgeously simple and cool summer ensemble on elle.com and it being Tasty Tuesday and all, it immediately brought images of summer foods to mind.

I thought it'd be nice to give you something to drool over at your lunch hour!

You can find the delicious recipes like zuchinni and potato pancakes at Cannelle-Vinille or warm robiola, with pine nuts and flat bread from Sunday Suppers (i'm a bit of a super fan).

I'm Loving...

Crazy cool street style from around the world. These ladies are just oozing a fabulousness that I cannot take my eyes off of.

con11-1

I don't know how those fashion girls pull off some of their amazing looks, but it always seems to work. I just appreciate the inspiration to be a bit more daring in my own day-to-day wear!

Monday Work Wear {Street Style}

Just a friendly reminder that a smart jacket can make all the difference.

Although a fabulous pair of shoes and the perfect bag can't hurt.

Happy Monday luvies!

Color of the Moment: Red

Yes, we saw more (yawn) strong blues for spring on the runways, as well as oranges. Yes, plum tones and greys are everywhere for fall. But, the color of the moment for me? RED.
I've always thought every woman should own a pair of sexy red heels - they're especially yummy in satin.
Worked into a little menswear fabric... it is seriously perfection. Thank you, of course, to The Sartorialist for always capturing the most elegant examples of the thoughts in my head.

More Looks to Love

Couldn't resist adding to the fall uniform list. Swooning!

Update - do I spy my favorite fall boots in the first look??

Viviana Style

 I think I have a new style crush...

The gorgeous Viviana Volpicella, assistant to Vogue Nippon's Anna Dello Russo, wore two of my favorite ensembles captured by The Sartorialist during Milan fashion week. Her shoes are divine for their versatility. And her playful but comfortable-chic style is perfectly coco+kelley. Love it.

Ok, Fine.

I guess winter can stick around just a little longer...

As in just long enough for me to recreate this outfit with a little digging at Forever21 and some vintage shopping. And a reason to love (or at least pretend to try and embrace) 43 degree weather for the next few weeks. Not to mention that I haven't had a chance to do the long gloves/short sleeved jacket look. Fab!

Finding those adorable booties and gorgeous grey clutch though... that could be another adventure in itself.

Must Have For Spring: The Blazer.

Have you seen Altamira's picks for favorites from 2008? Among them is this shot of Fashion Editor Annabel Rivera ...

I must must must get myself a vintage styled slouchy blazer this spring to pair with all my t's and tanks (am I a west coast girl or what?). A killer pair of nude sandals would be nice to top it off... but the cuffed jeans? Still not sure if I can swing it. I'm just getting the hang of rocking the skinnies on my 5'2" frame.

What are your must-haves for next season? My friend Stacy created a wonderful Spring Runway Review that highlights some of the best trends that you can actually afford to add to your closet. I'm taking some of these tips with me while I shop hop through LA!! See you later lovelies!

Little Rays of Sunshine

Is it Spring yet? Because I'm in love. Twitterpated. I never thought I'd fall so hard... for Bill Blass.

I helps that it's Eva Mendes rocking this totally vintage styled dress from his Spring '09 collection, but still. I neeeeeeed it. The jeweled neckline, the touch of metallic, the oversize print. It's calling my name. Which reminds me...

I've so been diggin' on this ensemble via The Sart. Ladies - don't put your yellow away just yet. This color's not goin' anywhere.

Word On The Streets: Ruffles & Furs

Just a little fashion inspiration for all of you - whether you have rain or shine...

You can find all the fabulous street style blogs in one spot now - did you know this? It's called streetstyl.es and it's my new favorite morning inspiration. And with that in mind, I'm off to pack for my little LA getaway!
