Your Life. Styled.

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending a style party hosted by my friend and Apartment 34 sponsor, Sara, a representative of Stella & Dot.

For two hours we sipped mimosas and played with great statement necklaces, bejeweled cocktail rings and killer cuffs. I was over accessorizing everyone I could lay my hands on and loving it! I was particularly fond of this sweet set from the new spring line.

I'm a sucker for the layering look. But even more fun than the jewelry was getting the opportunity to help out the other ladies by offering my styling services!

That's right my dears ~ after years of dreaming/thinking/plotting about it I've decided to actually go out and do! I am now offering personal, event and business styling services to you (and all your friends, neighbors acquaintances or the person you sit next to on the bus!)

If you have a style dilemma - I would sincerely love to be of service! No style question is too big or too small. You can get all the details here.

In honor of the launch of Apartment 34 Creative Styling Services Sara is offering a special offer to all of you!

ALT ~ itude

If you've been bouncing around the blog or Twittersphere of late you may have heard about Alt Summit. It's a lifestyle blogger conference happening next week in Salt Lake City and this year I'm going to be there!

I could not be more excited to dig into all things creative/entrepreneurial/style-tastic. Not to mention finally getting to meet so many of my blogger friends face-to-face! That opportunity alone is worth the price of admission. But of course, there is the age of dilemma of what to wear!

Design conference + lifestyle bloggers + Utah + winter = ??? What is a girl to do?

I'm currently taking cues from these looks from See by Chloe.

The goal is relative comfort (for long periods of sitting), plenty of warmth  (for downtown exploring) and mad style (because it's Alt and you gotta bring it!).

I think this might be my day one look.

con11-1

I don't know how those fashion girls pull off some of their amazing looks, but it always seems to work. I just appreciate the inspiration to be a bit more daring in my own day-to-day wear!

IN MY NEXT LIFE...

I want to be the chick who gets to do this for a living...

Styling for J.Crew while they shoot on location in Turks & Caicos? Yes please!

Small Wonder

As my friends will atest, I'm a sucker for necklaces, especially ones with a single design element like a charm, stone, or bead. Every time I pass one I cannot resist. So of course when I stumbled upon A Small Collection I was immediately smitten.

I love the white on white with the leather strap and the gorgeous wood bead with the smallest pop of turquoise. Add them to a simple tank, skinny jeans and spring sandals and you're ready for an evening out.

Simple, stylish, stunning. Thank goodness they're only online - so I can keep my impulse shopping urges at bay!

Lovely Layers

I love using trays in the house. It's the perfect way to keep track of your precious little pieces and keep clutter in check. They add texture and interest, becoming like a treasure hunt through your own home.  Even better, each tray can be unique and make a statement in its own right.

The latest issue of Lonny was spotted with sweet trays on virtually every page. Apparently, great minds think alike!

Neutral Territory

There's something so soothing about a soft, natural palette. Copenhagen based interior designer (and former director at Mulberry-swoon!) Katrine Martensen-Larsen brings a light, fresh hand to her designs.

Each room almost seems to be glowing from within.

To Dye For

Ok, I wasn't planning on rushing into spring, but the 2010 Spring Collection from Shabd is just too good to be patient!

I've been looking for a way to introduce color into my wardrobe and I think I just found it. Who knew tie-dye could look so chic!

My Living Room Sneak Peek: Golden Glamour

Let me just say this: a mirrored, gilded coffee table = instant glamour.
I've spent the last few days perfecting the little details all over my home in preparation for a photo shoot that finally took place yesterday... so I couldn't not share a little peek with you! But now, my dears... I have emails to catch up on. More to come soon!
