Two plugs for you my loves..
1) I just found out I've been nominated for a blog award. Yippeee! It's my first, so I'm very stoked. (Did I just say stoked?). Anyways, you can vote for me right here (if you feel so inclined, of course!) If you don't mind popping over and giving that little 'vote' button a click for yours truly, I would so appreciate it! (I'll even give you some fist pump love...)
2) If you haven't registered to vote, it's officially October and you've officially only got a few days left! GO GO GO!
Hot or Not?
I've expressed how I feel about wallpaper in the past, but Ferm Living (which is also responsible for this gorgeous paper) does a great job with a graphic print. The pop of orange against the black makes it flirty and fun don't you think?

Cozies from Kelgwo
A small textile art atelier in Chiloe Island, south of Chile, the Etsy shop Kelgwo features these dreamy open weave dresses that I am loving...
Totally unrealistic for me to even think about wearing, because I'm sure I would destroy them in a second, but the texture!!! It's stunning.
Also digging the shawl and runner for the table. How perfect is that orange for autumn?

Three Square Meals a Day
In the mad rush that is daily life, how many of us count coffee as a complete breakfast? Or eat lunch at our desks? Or dinner in front of the TV? Whatever happened to the tradition of sitting down with friends and family for a tried and true meal? If I had a dinning room like the ones by famed British design house Studioilse (the designers behind NYC's Soho House) I'd do a much better job of sitting down for a proper meal.
via a merry mishap
Be sure to browse Studioilse's entire portfolio because every single room they create is ah-maz-ing. Bon appetit!

Bar None
I reaaaalllly want this cool little bar set up...
Especially since I just got rid of my adorable bar cart (which you can actually buy right here), and would love another small little guy just like this one. Such a interesting mix of modern meets Moroccan goin' on in this room, don't you think?
PS - I also want this vanity, while we're at it...
Via The Selby, of course. (Can you believe it took me this long to actually post something from their site? I think that deserves an award in restraint...)

Hotness from the Runway
It's 80 degrees today, so the following outfits from the spring shows in Milan seem very appropriate.
(plaid + polka dots for spring...i don't know for sure but I'm intrigued...)
Makes me stop thinking about my never-ending boot hunt. At least for the moment.

Home Sweet Home
I'm back in Seattle, and the sun is shining!!!
I have lots to unpack and a billion projects to get started on, so I'm taking today to get a little organized. Back tomorrow with some posts for you all! xoxo...

Dancin' in my Suede Shoes
Suede shoes are far from practical in the Seattle rain, but oh so fabulous none-the-less. Pick a pair. Any pair will do!

Hit the Road Jack!
If I were at my desk today I certainly wish it looked like this.
via skona hem
The black and white makes everything seems crisp and put together while the pops of color in the drapes and lovely portrait would draw my eye away from the computer screen occasionally. And the floor to ceiling window - heaven! I would love that to be my desk if I were in the office today. Instead I've got a window to the world because I am on the road with my bff!

I promise Cassandra and I will try to chronicle our mini-adventure as best we can along the way. It won't be as well done as this, but give us a break - we're not professionals!
I hope you have your own great adventure this weekend. Seattle here we come!

Fall Rooms From the Runway: Marie Meets Moschino
I think this may end up being my official palette for fall (with maybe a dash of camel...)
I love the olive green, but especially how it's a bit more grey than saturated. And how killer are those boots? I also pretty much love all the runners-up as well!

Fall Rooms From the Runway: Black and White
I bet you never thought you'd see YSL and Thom Filicia look so much alike...
Black & white was huge on the runways for fall. I love the ones with a touch of brown or gold! A few more looks to get your wardrobe inspired...

One More Day...
Before I go from this...
To this...
Ok, so maybe I'll keep with the first look, but tomorrow morning I'm leaving for Seattle and I can't wait to share the next phase of my adventures with you all! Yippeee! (Now back to last minute packing I go!)

These Boots Are Made for Walkin'
As much I've tried to force myself into the flat boot trend, I think I might swing in the entirely opposite direction and go for some over-the-knee drama. Especially if they look like this!

Fall Rooms From the Runway: Malo & Domino
What could be more perfect for the chilly months ahead than furs and greys? With a touch of creamy neutrals, this room is ready for the season's change...

Serenity Now!
I'm having one of those mornings and all I want to do is go back to bed and start over. Especially if my bed looked like this.

A Blogger's Roadtrip!
As most of you know, this Friday I'll be taking off to move back to Seattle! I've been packing all week, I'm stocked up on snacks for the car, and my girl Erin will be heading down to help make the drive with me! So now, there's only one thing missing...
And just as a side note... how much do you love Kate Spade ads? I think this one is my favorite...
We need an itinerary.
We were going to stay with a friend in San Fran, but she's now heading to NYC... so the road map is open, and we're looking for suggestions! So, for those of you between LA and Seattle... where should we go? What should we do? Any suggestions for places to shack up for a night? Hidden gems off the beaten path? (Ok, not toooo far off because we have a schedule to keep...)And just as a side note... how much do you love Kate Spade ads? I think this one is my favorite...

Fall Rooms From the Runway: D&G meets Vogue
Yesterday's Fall Room from the Runway was cozy and dark. Today's is still warm, but without being too heavy...
And a few other options for what to wear to match this rich little bedroom...
Also... how cute are those earmuffs from the J.Mendel collection? (See them in the lower right?) I think they're winter's answer to the feathery headband craze...
I officially want a pair of my own!

Lady of the Mist
Years ago, my family spent a summer in the Olympic National Forest, just north of Seattle. It's a true rainforest, and absolutely magical.
So, when I saw these amazing images from the recent NY Times Fall Travel issue, which were photographed in this park, I had to share.
Gorgeous dresses amongst lush greenery... it seems so surreal, but having been there I can say it honestly looks like this!
I especially love the misty lake... very northwest.
You can see more of the photography by Raymond Meier in the slideshow.

Straight to the Top
Seattle may have (finally!) gotten three H&Ms of our very own, but I may not even walk in the door. Perhaps I'm the last person on earth to hear the news, but London stunner Topshop has finally started a U.S.-based website. Love or hate Kate Moss, her collection is H.O.T!
