Makes me say Victoria who??

Head Gear

This winter I've really taken to hats. They are the perfect remedy for virtually any type of inclement weather. In Seattle, my hat is proving to be a great way to ward off bad hair days!

These stunning felt hats by Feruto take sophistication to a whole new level.

If you're feeling a bit more playful, I think the looks from It's Ok My Dear are too perfect!

On dark gray days it helps to have a little fun!

New Sponsor - In Honor of Design

I'm so excited to introduce Apartment #34's newest sponsor In Honor of Design. Anna is the talented lady behind the the bright and happy handmade accesories in the Honor of Design etsy shop.

I'm also loving Anna's weekly Style Watch on the In Honor of Design blog. She's got a great eye for a killer ensemble.

Sigh. A girl after my own heart. Whether you, a girlfriend or a little one needs an added flourish for the holidays, look no further than In Honor of Design!

Would you like to be an Apartment#34 sponsor? Email me at  apt34blog (at) gmail (dot) com.

TWO BITS...

Bit *1: On Monday I guested over at the lovely Sacramento Street blog on 10 Things That Make Me Happy including a few below...
I am dying for the palette in that Anthropologie rug! For all these picks and more, please stop by Caitlin's blog and say hello!

Bit *2: Have you started your holiday shopping yet...?
I've just added these glamorous amber glass perfume bottles to the coco+kelley Etsy shop! Maybe they belong on your wish list?? I kept one for myself, and am selling the other two one. They are absolutely stunning the way they glow.

Hopefully, I'll be adding many more items for the holidays as well! Any requests? I love a good treasure hunt! If you're seeking something vintage for yourself or a gift, let me know and I'll track it down!

Dripping Lace + Porcelain

Loving these simple bowls and vases painted in dripping lace from Stephanie Kao's etsy shop...

Very modern meets deco, don't you think?

On Vacation With... The Fab Miss B

Vacation is a state of mind. Here's how to do it in your own backyard...
Put on something that makes you feel gorgeous. Add a stylish pair of shades. Pack a picnic lunch of cold chicken, potato salad, strawberries, and Champagne in a pretty basket.
Grab a classic book. A vintage sun hat. A comfy blanket too. And real glasses for the Champagne!
Load up your bike and head to the park, well before the music begins. Get a good spot on the grass. (Hopefully you've mastered the art of cycling in a gauzy dress!)
There you have it. Instant Happy.

Etsy For The Bedroom

I had a little time over the weekend to search for some new etsy favorites...

For Ms. Annie, whose birthday is next monday... maybe you have room for one more elephant in your collection? He'd match your office color scheme perfectly! (If you don't snag him, I may have to...)

And where else would you want to put this little guy, but on a piece like this?

I'll take this restored nightstand in my favorite spring color and pair it with an Imperial Trellis pillow in tangerine - a perfectly cheerful pair, don't you think?

Some of you have asked about decorating for a child's bedroom - I think this color combo would be fresh and youthful while still being a style that they can grow into. Aqua + tangerine...what do you think??

Spring decorating has officially begun for me! How about you?

Vintage [Etsy] Fabulousness

Just doing a little hunting on Etsy this morning...

Sometimes, I think I was born in the wrong era. Then again... there's also this:

Yes, I was a child of the 80's. Sparkly sequins really do it for me.

Rowr.

I'm diggin' this necklace...

Doesn't it just say Fierce! to you?

Personal Papers from Pink Lily Press

If you're entering the Wedding Board Contest that I announced on Monday, then you might be lucky enough to win a set of personalized stationery from Pink Lily Press ~ the creative paperie shop from Jennifer who was sweet enough to donate a set of personalized cards to the winner!

This design might be my favorite... but the reason I asked Jennifer if she would be a part of the contest (besides the fact that she's a Seattle girl!) is because she's got such a great variety of simple yet original designs to choose from! Every one of them beautifully personalized.

LOVE these colorful swirls! Whimsical and classy at the same time.

Or how about an intricate band with your name in the middle? Very fab.

I can't get enough of this fabulous little chandelier! Especially with a pale decorative background, and tucked into the orange envelope.

As you can see, Pink Lily has some beautiful pieces to choose from! Go visit her shop to see them all, and if you don't win... splurge and get yourself a set of stationery anyways! (I might have to myself!)

Thanks again Jennifer for participating in the contest! The winner will be one lucky gal!

New Type

I love typography, and these cards from Orange Beautiful are...
