But this one would make a great candidate. I mean, just look at all it encompasses! The return of animal print, bold black and white stripes, 'tribal' (does anyone else hate that word?) influences, a touch of mid-century modern and pretty little embellishments that come together to create this cozy traditional romanticism... in other words, a totally undefinable space. That's my prediction for 2010, by the way. The speed of design + the need for originality = undefinable spaces. And hopefully, a few less frills. I'm liking the lean towards clean and fresh.
