A place to sit in the winter sunshine and absorb the warmth. To close my eyes and pretend it's summer if only for an hour.While this style is borderline shabby chic (a look that doesn't work for me), I do love the idea of a somewhat classic country porch ... floral pillows and all! The room just welcomes curling up with a stack of magazines or napping in the sunshine. I, of course, adore the green paint - a color that will always make it feel like spring is just around the corner. And if all those big windows open up in the summer to let in the warm breeze? Well, that's even better.
