When I first stumbled upon this tabletop, photographed by
Jennifer Kloss, I had no idea that this was a baby shower setting...
It's only when you look at the tiniest details
(like the sweet rocking horse on top of the menu!) that you notice even a hint of baby. Which is why I absolutely love it. While pretty pastels certainly have their place in showers, why not treat the mom-to-be with a setting that's more about
her style?
This table is sophisticated and fun all at once! Working in small elements to allude to the baby shower side of it is perfect - after all, it's the point of the celebration! But, adding a bit of drama
(like the red on red candelabras) and sophistication
(damask runner and silver chiavari chairs!) takes toasting one haute mama to a whole other level.
