High contrast in interior design can create some great drama. I love it so much that I bought this piece from Ikea that is a part of its Effektiv office series (and a pain in the ass to put together!) just because it was an affordable option to having a piece that I've been craving for a while - dark wood on the body and glossy white drawers. I've seen a few pieces like this for hundreds (or thousands!) more, but you can't beat the Ikea pricing!
I also found this gorgeous tray on Violet featuring a macassar ebony, bent plywood, and high-gloss resin combo that makes for a very cool piece.
I have a feeling this is a design that'll be popping up in my blogs for a while!
