Cake is great. But I’m very particular about where I buy my baked goods and how they taste. It’s gotta be fresh, moist and not overloaded with sugary icing so, for the most part, I stay away from big box store confections. My family has been ordering cakes from local gal Renee Pratt Snively for years and we’ve never been disappointed. A certified pastry chef, she has honed her skills over the years and her cakes and pastries reflect her passion and dedication to freshness and good quality ingredients.

Whether it’s for a wedding, birthday, shower or any occasion, Renee takes the time to sit down with you and make sure that you get exactly what you want. What do I love best about her cakes? The icing. Instead of using that over-sugared stuff that sends me into hyper-overdrive, Renee uses a whipped cream that gives the cakes a moist, light taste and doesn’t leave me with the feeling that I’ve over done it.
