I'd feel shiny and new after a hot night out on the town followed by blissful sleep in sheets with 500 thread count.
I hope you enjoy a touch of luxury this weekend!

Perhaps I'll break out the wellies and enjoy some time by the lake if the sun is shining. Or even if it's not...
On Saturday, I'll be attending an event that I used to help organize every year, the Ronald McDonald House Hockey Challenge, benefiting some of the most amazing, positive, and strong children and families I've ever met. (I'm sure there will be photos for you next week!) If you're looking for a way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon... join us!
Sunday will be a mini roadtrip with Erin for a much overdue visit to Carol at Gatherings - one of my lovely sponsors here at coco+kelley! I can't wait to see her amazing store!

While we were all completely enthralled by the paper flowers at the Chanel show, there were a few other magnificent details to fall in love with too.
For the record... I can't believe more actresses weren't sporting some gorgeous Elie Saab designs at the Oscars. But, in keeping with the very white trend we saw, these two would probably have been my picks... (Oh, and since you asked, loved Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway. And Angie's green jewels. Of course.)
Another look I'm loving? Black flowers. While floral patterns are popping up everywhere for spring, us girls who look best in black can still get away with the trend... a little goth style.
And finally... this dress from Dior had me thinking of teacups the second I saw it. Such a fun little detail to have the underside of a skirt displaying a beautiful pattern.
Still trying to catch up with all the Fall'09 shows! You can expect some posts on them in the next few weeks... from what I've seen, there's lots to love!
As you can tell just by looking at my banner, I love simple repeated designs like the screens used in this home by Philip Galanes. Much more visually interesting than a wall!

Or, place them in a vintage frame and make your own little work of art? I think I love them because they remind me of beautiful ironwork. Their patterns and designs would make beautiful pillows, china... oh yes. The wheels are turning...

It seems that I can't get enough of beach-inspired hues these days, so Winifred's spring line is totally tugging at my senses. Keeping with her signature look of mixed oxidized silver chains, this collection features soft blues, greens and pinks of alabaster swarovski crystal chains mixed with a little gold filled accents...
