Back in January, I blogged about the incredibly talented Sixx Design (which you can, and should, read about right here).
They are a stylish husband (Robert) and wife (Cortney) team with six (hence the name) adorable children who, apart from their many other projects, decided to create a haven for themselves in the town of Trancoso, Brazil that is truly a blend of natural elements (the home is built from reclaimed mohogany), with modern and rare designer pieces.
What I loved most about the photos when I first saw them was that, while their home is certainly luxurious, it blends with the natural setting, has been kept very simple in its style and decor, and has beautiful open spaces that seamlessly blend the indoors with the out...
Like the open air living and dining areas with high ceilings and huge doorways to the deck. (How amazing are those tables?)
Or a fabulously simple bedroom like this one. Of course, the outdoor spaces are just as perfect...
Love the use of white textiles throughout the home. It keeps it so fresh against all the heavy wood.
Not to mention a fantastic outdoor bar area right next to the pool. Yes, please!!
Of course, living the life of a designer, you have to have a few cool details...
A big thanks to Sixx Design for sharing all these amazing images with me, so that I could share them with you!
