Over at Apt #34 last week Erin posted some inspiration photos of very clean, white spaces where warmth was brought in by accessories and lots of wood...

The very same day I came across the company Curated, based here in LA, and immediately fell in love with their clean aesthetic, and their website, where the opening page states...
"We are each the curator of our own life.
We discover and choose the elements that create our environment."
So simple, and so true. Our homes are made out of our lives, built by layers of discoveries (and necessary purchases) made along the way. They tell our stories.
These designers seem to specialize in creating open interiors that combine clean mostly midcentury modern furnishings with special finds that don't clutter, but rather, neatly layer texture and a bit of color to produce simple spaces that work. So, Erin, these inspirations are for you and your little apartment.
Love the large black ceiling lamp. It's unexpectedly perfect.
Such a great use of simple lines to create interest in that lamp - all you need is wood for warmth in this white and grey bedroom.
One of my favorite images from their site, I love the organic feeling you get from the table and chairs.
Again, a beautiful use of white, combined with the collection of warm glass and a simple piece of art.
More easy simplicity, brought together with a few patterns, a great lamp, and I like the use of the mirror to elongate the space.
And, since Erin and I have been talking about a grey accent for her space (painting the archway and her radiator in a neutral contrast), I had to include this wall. Maybe we'll use this idea in the bedroom - painting an accent wall or her closet doors in grey as well...
